On November 9, 2013, the appraisal meeting for the nuclear level seals of the third generation nuclear power unit (acp1000), jointly developed by Suzhou Baohua Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. and China Nuclear Power Research and Design Institute, was held in Taicang, Jiangsu Province.
The development of acp1000 is based on more than 30 years of experience in nuclear power research, design, manufacturing, construction and operation in China, fully drawing on the advanced concepts of international three generation nuclear power technology, learning from the experience and lessons of Fukushima nuclear accident, and meeting the most advanced international regulatory standards. Acp1000 has a good foundation of nuclear power independence and localization, rich experience in construction and operation can be used for reference, and has greater economic advantages.
Members of the expert group of this appraisal meeting listened to the development requirements, background introduction and development summary report of core measurement system core measurement seal structure seal sample of nuclear expanded graphite seal gasket for (acp1000) zh-65 steam generator and pressurizer, reviewed the technical documents strictly, visited the field test bench and nuclear level manufacturing workshop, and inquired After careful discussion, it is agreed that all performance indexes of acp1000 nuclear grade seals meet the requirements of independent third generation nuclear power unit (acp1000) and reach the international advanced level, which can be used in engineering. The appraisal expert group agreed to pass the appraisal.
The successful passing of the acp1000 nuclear level seal identification project marks another big step in successfully solving the problems of localization and export of complete nuclear power equipment in China. At the same time, through research and development, we have mastered the whole process and manufacturing technology, further improved the ability of independent design, and accumulated indispensable experience for further improvement of nuclear level equipment seal design.
